Player Placed Terrain Setup
Here at Wooden Spoon Wargaming we have a large collection of bespoke terrain setups and for this none competitve standard table setup we use 'Player Placed Terrain'
Below you can find the setup arrangements

Games are played on the 6x4 full table size
There will be 10 pieces of terrain on each table. These will be of varying type and sizes.
These are split into two equalish piles of 5 terrain pieces each
Place objective markers as per the deployment map for the mission
The youngest player will then place the first piece of terrain in their half of the table and the players will then alternate placing terrain until all pieces have been setup
No terrain piece can be within 5’ of the board edge and not within 6’ of another piece of terrain
*player discretion can be used
Objective markers can be covered a maximum of 25% by a single terrain piece
The players will now speak about the classification of each terrain piece
Look at the Deployment card drawn and agree which edges of your battlefield are the Attacker’s and Defender’s battlefield edges. Roll off: the winner decides who will be the Attacker and who will be the Defender.
Players take it in turns to set up their remaining units one at a time, starting with the Defender.
Roll off for first turn, the winner must take the first turn
