Missions
The missions played are those from the Warhammer 40,000 10th edition set, the mission will be announced in a email and a blog post on 26th February 2025
Terrain
Battlefields will feature interesting aspects of terrain, pushing away from competitive setups repetitive bland board layouts
Board setup will be using the 'Player placed terrain method'
Awards
The awards on offer are:
Favourite Army - Player based voting
Favourite army
Armies are to be placed out on tables at the lunch break so players can view all the armies, a paper slip will be given, and votes collected by the WSW team member
Secondary Awards
Players are only able to achieve one award each
Special in game events that will trigger and award, to be awarded to the first player to achieve one, or more of these during the event
Witness me - make a 12' charge with out modifications to charge distance
Who's in charge now? - first warlord to die during the game
Seems like a good idea - first self inflicted character kill - lose a characters last wound that was not the result of an enemies attack
Shoe laces were tided together - fail a 3 or 4 inch charge - this result has to be accepted and not rerolled
Where did all my model go? - first person to get 'tabled' at the event
Side Quest 1 - Guess the number of dice in the dice bag, I will have a dice bag and you have to guess the number of dice in the bag, you can not look in the bag and you can hold it for 3 seconds.
Side Quest 2 – Dice rolling challenge
In Break 2 there will be a chance for everyone to roll 5d6 and attempt to get the highest score in combination of all 5 dice. The highest rolling player will win a prize (TBC)
If there is a draw at the highest result then the players will have to reroll as tie results will not be considered, and the highest unique roll be be the winner
